The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and project teams across a portfolio of high-quality developments. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and valuations
* Support senior surveyors with tendering, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration
* Measure and assess quantities from drawings and specifications
* Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts
* Contribute to cost reporting, forecasting, and value engineering processes
* Work collaboratively with project managers, design teams, and site staff to ensure commercial success
* Maintain clear documentation and support best practice in all financial processes
Key Requirements
* Some experience or exposure to quantity surveying within a construction environment (placement or early career experience welcomed)
* A relevant qualification or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards one)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
* Good communication and organisational abilities
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn within a collaborative team environment
