Job Description The Urology Department at Portsmouth University Hospitals is looking to appoint a candidate to its endourology and stone surgery fellowship program, based at the Queen Alexandra Hospital. This role offers comprehensive training in advanced endourology and stone surgery techniques, including PCNL access, flexible ureteroscopy, ECIRS, standard and mini PCNL, and the opportunity to be trained in HoLEP procedures. The department performs approximately 100 PCNL procedures a year and over 300 flexible ureteroscopy procedures, with a high daycase rate and onsite lithotripter for ESWL. The fellowship program can be tailored to meet the successful applicant’s experience and career aspirations.

Qualifications
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
FRCS(Urol) or equivalent qualification
Qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English language
Clinical Experience
Evidence of experience of endourological surgery at a middle grade / registrar level
Clinical Skills
Expertise in urological surgery
Manage/prioritise time
Manage information effectively

Organise ward rounds
Ability to maximise safety and minimise risk
