We’re recruiting for a Claims Team Manager to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary up to £50,000, dependant on experience. We’re looking for a Claims Team Manager to lead a team in providing a proactive and compassionate claims service. 1. Leading and supporting a team of Claims Specialists to deliver high-quality service
2. Managing recruitment, development and performance to build a capable and engaged team
3. Overseeing the assessment and authorisation of claims within agreed authority limits
4. Collaborating with clients and advisers to promote our claims philosophy
5. Monitoring performance data and responding to trends to meet service targets
6. Ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
7. Driving continuous improvement in processes, systems and customer experience
8. Championing a culture of fairness, inclusion and accountability across the team
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
9. Experience managing people and leading teams in a customer-focused environment
10. Strong knowledge of Group Protection products and claims processes
11. Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills
12. Understanding of relevant legislation such as GDPR, Equality Act and DWP benefits
13. Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement
15. Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance practices
16. A commitment to fairness, integrity and delivering good customer outcomes
