Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing
Shift Pattern: Panama (Days & Nights, avg. 42 hours per week)
We're currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business close to Bournemouth, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, fault-finding under pressure, and keeping production running efficiently.

You'll be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across site. Working within a multi-skilled team, you'll play a key part in reducing downtime and improving overall equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown support
* Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems and production machinery
* Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
* Working closely with production teams to minimise disruption
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience working on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes or similar equipment
* Comfortable working a Panama shift pattern (days and nights)
* A proactive, team-focused approach
