Now, we’re offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team at Red Rose House, our vibrant Respite Service, as a Full-Time, Permanent Care Co-ordinator.
About the Care Coordinator role:
This is your chance to step into a rewarding leadership role where no two days are ever the same.
Working closely with the Service Manager and Assistant Manager, you’ll help shape unforgettable respite experiences for our customers – ensuring their individual choices, interests, and aspirations are at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll also play a key part in leading and supporting a committed staff team, helping them thrive while maintaining the highest standards of care.
As part of your role, you’ll contribute to our local emergency on-call rota, ensuring continuous, quality support across the service.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a passion for person-centred care and the drive to make a real impact.
You’ll bring:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs
2. SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
3. A strong understanding of current social care legislation and best practice
4. Experience in residential settings and developing person-centred care plans and risk assessments
5. Confidence using IT systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases)
6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Bonus: If you have experience supervising a team, that’s a plus, but not essential!
