Salary: GBP 35,000 – GBP 55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Instrumentation sector. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
* BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* 3 or more years of industry experience working in a similar Mechanical Design role
* Ideally some experience in High Precision and Injection Moulding
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation
* Excellent proficiency with CAD software: SolidWorks or similar
* Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
* Ability to understand system requirements
* Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Able to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
Role Responsibilities
* Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
* Leading client projects to convert ideas into designs
* Working on new product concepts
* Involved in the product design and development process using CAD
* Working with high precision instrumentation products
* Using injection moulding methods to produce products
* Conducting design reviews
* Producing the relevant documentation that is required
