Our client is a rapidly expanding international sports business based in the heart of London with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to ongoing growth, they require an energetic Senior Finance Manager to join the finance team on a 12-month FTC basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
The role includes:
1. Managing relationships with senior stakeholders and co-leading the accounting team, providing mentorship and daily support.
2. Overseeing general ledger activities and leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
3. Preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
4. Implementing and improving key finance processes and internal controls.
5. Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and management reports.
6. Approving payments and ensuring transactions align with policies and contracts.
7. Supporting statutory and group audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
8. Providing revenue recognition guidance and reviewing contract terms.
9. Training junior staff and supporting finance system rollouts and special projects.
10. Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining finance documentation.
Skills and Experience:
* CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified, with approximately five years of post-qualification experience.
* Sports background, with a strong preference for Football.
