Job Summary Note: This is fixed term contract role for 12 months. To take accountability for oversight / assurance and leading allocated project managers in medium to large projects or concurrent small projects. To take accountability for and demonstrate best practice for all assigned project deliveries whilst mentoring and ensuring quality across the PM practice. Job Description Manages customer's expectations by soliciting their feedback and directly creating an action plan within the organization to meet and exceed expectations. · Assures appropriate project-level technology architecture and processes to align and manage the dependencies. Oversees and approves recommendations for solutions that address client requirements identified during the project life cycle. · Works closely with senior management, boards and steering committees, and business function managers to steer the projects and business organisation toward achieving the intended business results. Represents SSP in maintaining a positive working relationship with senior business executives from the client organisation and monitors the overall morale of the SSP project personnel. · Understands client goals and requirements, represents SSP to the client, and manages client expectations and dependencies. · Responsible for the appropriateness, quality, and timeliness of all defined projects. Manages inter- project dependencies and issues (goals, resource allocation, release planning, technology architecture, etc.) and establishes a project office to track and monitor project results. Understands both SSP's and the client's business context and how the project impacts both SSP and the client's business results. · Manages change in project direction, scope, benefits, costs, and timing while minimizing financial risks. Oversees risk mitigation plans. · Creates a consistent and effective approach to Project Management · Evaluates the performance of the project manager/s assigned and develop their skills in order to maximise performance. This will require the undertaking of appraisals and setting of objectives. · Successfully deliver projects, effectively managing their interdependencies and allocating resources to support prioritised opportunities. · Provides coaching and guidance to the wider project team and building and managing meaningful and supportive relationships across the organisation. · Assists in effort and cost estimates for professional services: Project Services engagements, Pre-sales activities, RFIs and the generation of Statements of Work Worker Type Temporary (Fixed Term)
