What you'll be doing in this role
* Lead the development, delivery and implementation of regulatory and education/training policy.
* Apply strong project management skills to deliver clear, evidence-based outcomes.
* Conduct impact assessments, including equality impact assessments.
* Build influential relationships with senior stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
* Contribute to public policy debates and represent the organisation externally at events and conferences.
* Produce high-quality reports, consultation papers, and policy documents.
* Champion equality, diversity and inclusion across all aspects of your work.
What they are looking for
* Degree or equivalent experience.
* Background in one or more of: regulation, consumer policy, economics, legal services, education and training.
* Experience leading policy development in a complex environment.
* Strong decision-making skills with the ability to deliver practical, clear outcomes on complex issues.
* Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing effectively.
* Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing policy reports and board papers.
* A strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
