Supported Living Support Worker, Didcot, From £24,870 per annum Permanent Job opportunity Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Support Worker to join a leading care provider in Didcot, supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This permanent job opportunity offers a rewarding role, providing personal care, eating and drinking support, household tasks, and engaging in fun and fulfilling activities with service users. As a Support Worker, you will ensure that individuals have varied and exciting experiences, and you will have the opportunity to participate in these activities as well. Key Responsibilities As a Supported Living Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence and well-being. You will also be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment, encouraging social interaction, and facilitating access to community activities. Required Skills & Experience Although no prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided, ideally, you will have a background in care or working with people with specific additional requirements. However, we are more interested in hearing from people who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. You will need a positive, can-do, and professional attitude, be reliable and flexible, and able to do sleepovers. A valid UK Driving Licence is also required.
