The Role

As an Operations Manager, you will report to Head of Timber Frames and oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production and quality targets are met within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate activities of manufacturing personnel.
2. Achieve production metrics and minimise downtime.
3. Optimise manufacturing processes for enhanced productivity.
4. Ensure timely order fulfilment and adherence to operational standards.
Requirements:
5. Previous experience working in a similar role.
6. Ideally have at least 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
7. Understanding of timber frame or roof truss manufacturing.
8. Background in implementing effective manufacturing practices and lean principles.
9. Ability to collaborate with design teams to optimise manufacturing and ensure timely delivery.
