Role Overview: As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the needs of KS2 pupils. You will create a supportive and stimulating learning environment, helping pupils to develop key skills, reach their potential, and build confidence in their abilities. As a KS2 Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality, creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs. Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages active participation and respect. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies where needed. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupil achievement and well-being. Contribute to wider school life, including planning enrichment activities and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment. Requirements for KS2 Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. Proven teaching experience within a KS2 classroom. Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. A nurturing, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
