We are currently seeking an experienced
Contractor for the Irish Markets
to join our
Procurement Team
, reporting to the Procurement Director, working remotely/hybrid from the UK or Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our
Nordic Visitor
brand, focusing on expanding and strengthening our supplier network across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Contract Negotiation & Management:
Secure competitive rates, allocations, and terms with accommodation, transport, and experience providers within set deadlines.
* Supplier Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
* Market Insight & Expansion:
Identify market trends and opportunities for portfolio growth, ensuring our products remain competitive and compelling.
* Travel Expertise:
Provide expert knowledge in hotel contracting and services for FIT, Private Tours, and Group travel.
Key Competencies
* Excellent Communication:
Clear and confident in both written and verbal communication, with strong presentation skills.
* Collaboration:
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and support strategic goals in coordination with the Procurement Director.
* Organisation & Efficiency:
Strong multitasking and time-management skills with attention to detail.
* Willingness to Travel:
Open to supplier visits, site inspections, and attending industry trade events.
* Problem Solving:
Practical and solution-oriented approach to contract or supplier challenges.
* Adaptability:
Comfortable navigating evolving business needs and industry developments.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3–5 years of contracting experience in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
* Established supplier network, including accommodation, transport, and experience providers.
* Solid understanding of Ireland as a travel destination, particularly for North American audiences.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Legally eligible to work in the UK or Ireland.
* Clean driving license.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
