Overview
The Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) is part of the Ministry of Defence responsible for the procurement, in-service support, and disposal of the UK's nuclear submarines. Our work is of strategic importance nationally and internationally, ensuring the security of the UK's continuous at-sea nuclear deterrent (CASD) and delivering technically complex defence programmes. At least one of four nuclear-armed submarines, supported by smaller attack submarines, is on patrol at all times: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive support, guidance, and training to enable you to deliver a high-quality service that supports our customers' needs. You will store and distribute spares to platforms/equipment undergoing maintenance, requiring robust and time-sensitive delivery of inventory using various Logistics Information Systems.

Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. You will also be assessed on your personal statement and past experiences, key achievements, or qualifications during the interview.
Security and Conduct
* The Ministry of Defence adopts a zero-tolerance approach to unacceptable behaviours, including bullying, harassment, discrimination, and victimisation. Candidates who have been dismissed for such behaviours within the last five years are ineligible for this post.
* Pre-employment checks will be carried out. All successful candidates must meet security requirements and undergo appropriate vetting checks.
* A baseline Personnel Security Standard may be required for those working with government assets.
Eligibility and Sponsorship
* UK immigration rules apply. The role has not been assessed as business critical and is not open to sponsorship under the points-based system.
