Join our team as a Sous Chef and play a key role in delivering exceptional food across stadium concessions, fan-zone kiosks, and event catering. Supporting the Retail Head Chef, you’ll help lead a high-energy matchday operation spanning GA premium hospitality, 16 stadium outlets, and 8 fan-zone units. A day in the life of a Sous Chef:
Overview:
* Support the Retail Head Chef in planning, coordinating, and delivering all GA and retail food experiences at our state-of-the-art stadium.
* Deliver creative, high-quality food with a strong focus on detail, safety, and team development.
* Assist with menu and recipe setup in procurement systems.
* Help create systems and processes for smooth kitchen operations.
* Support team structure development and training.
* Build strong relationships with logistics to ensure efficient movement of produce.
* Help set up kitchens for speed, safety, and operational excellence.
Operations:
* Lead food production and delivery across premium GA and retail outlets.
* Ensure consistent product quality and a fan-focused service approach.
* Uphold food safety standards (e.g., temperature checks, FIFO, daily date checks).
* Manage stock ordering, usage, wastage, and allergen/calorie compliance.
* Maintain high hygiene and COSHH standards, report safety or maintenance issues promptly.
* Understand and implement stadium health and safety policies.
People:
* Drive a culture of energy, engagement, and hospitality excellence.
* Ensure the kitchen team is trained to Aramark standards.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
* Confident leader with the ability to inspire and motivate large kitchen teams
* Strong communicator, ensuring clear collaboration between front and back of house
* Passionate about food with a flair for hospitality and modern street food trends
* Previous experience in a similar high-paced environment
* Committed to maintaining a safe, hygienic operation in line with company and legal standards
* Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required
