Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Relationship Manager to take ownership of supplier performance and play a critical role in driving sales outcomes. Acting as the key link between our sales teams and external partners, you will lead from the front – challenging, influencing, and improving performance to deliver against demanding targets. This role requires someone with proven experience in supplier relationship management within a sales‑driven environment, a strong grasp of the property market (including part‑exchange and conveyancing), and the ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams. You will be confident influencing stakeholders at all levels and using data, insight, and commercial judgement to drive measurable improvements. Highly organised and results‑focused, you will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, and turning performance data into action.

Responsibilities

* Achieve Sales Success: Hit your sales targets by negotiating competitive deals, while maximising margin and protecting our average sales price.
* Tailored Customer Experience: Provide personalised service, guiding customers through their journey and ensuring they feel valued and understood.
* Exceptional Presentation: Maintain high standards at every touchpoint, showcasing the best of McCarthy Stone's offerings.
* Community Engagement: Build relationships with potential customers and existing homeowners, bringing the McCarthy Stone lifestyle to life.
* Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations, from property checks to sales lead analysis.
* Compliance & Knowledge: Stay updated with sales processes and compliance requirements, ensuring your skills are always sharp and relevant.

Are you a commercially driven relationship manager who knows how to get the best out of suppliers and teams? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced sales environment where performance, accountability, and results matter?

Qualifications

* A strong relationship builder who can influence and challenge constructively.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to identify value and drive performance improvements.
* A confident communicator, able to operate effectively with senior stakeholders.
* Proactive and solutions‑focused, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* A collaborative leader who can motivate and develop others.

Ready to lead high‑performing partnerships that do more than support sales – they drive results? If you are a commercially focused leader who thrives on performance, relationships, and delivering impact, we want to hear from you.
