Job Description:

Due to ongoing growth, Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML), in partnership with their client airline Ryanair, is recruiting for a Technical Training Instructor to join the Engineering Training department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about aviation and interested in teaching a broad range of aircraft engineering topics to staff at various career stages. The role involves promoting training standards and acting as an ambassador for the company's high standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Delivering technical training to engineering staff according to industry standards, including but not limited to:
o Technical training for all airlines within the PAML Group
o Part 145 theoretical and practical training
o Health and Safety courses (e.g., Forklift, Fuel Tank Entry, Dangerous Goods by Air)
1. Preparing and improving technical training courses
2. Developing instructor materials such as course outlines, lesson plans, background materials, and training aids
3. Ensuring compliance with EASA regulations and reviewing relevant procedures regularly
4. Developing and approving training materials using various delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual)
5. Delivering practical technical training effectively
6. Maintaining and developing training centers for ongoing learning enhancements
7. Demonstrating a hands-on approach and strong organizational skills
8. Creating effective training programs and communicating clearly
We seek candidates with experience in aircraft technical training or aircraft engineering who are eager to learn, innovative, and excellent communicators, capable of working with diverse teams. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, positive, open-minded, and proactive. Further requirements include:
* Holding an EASA Part 66 Licence, an Aerospace Engineering degree, or evidence of relevant employment in aircraft technical training
* Experience in aircraft engineering
* Optional safety qualifications (Forklift, MEWP, etc.)
* Experience reviewing regulations and procedures
* Attention to detail and ability to escalate issues appropriately
* Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to change quickly
* Proficiency in Office 365 and willingness to learn new tools
* Effective communication skills (verbal, face-to-face, virtual)
* Open-mindedness, eagerness to learn, responsibility, and a strong work ethic
* Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
* Solution-oriented mindset
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Valid EU passport, willingness to travel, and unrestricted right to work in the UK
