We are looking for a qualified GP to join Parklands Surgery, a well established practice located in the heart of Chichester. We pride ourselves on a strong team ethos and are searching for a dedicated GP to ideally join us for six sessions per week.
Responsibilities
As a salaried GP you will be responsible for:
* Providing general medical services to patients via face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations.
* Managing acute presentations, long‑term conditions and chronic disease clinics in line with QOF and practice protocols.
* Leading care for patients with frailty, severe mental illness, end‑of‑life and palliative care needs.
* Reviewing and acting on pathology results, clinical correspondence and workflow items for your own patient list.
* Participating in the practice duty doctor rota and home visits as required.
* Supporting the education and supervision of trainees, including GP registrars.
* Contributing to clinical meetings, significant event reviews and practice audits to improve quality of care.
* Collaborating with nursing, paramedic and administrative teams to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
* Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous patient records using TPP SystmOne.
* Adhering to current clinical and information governance standards and all practice policies.

Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP, eligible to practice in the UK with GMC registration and on the Medical Performers List.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
* UK registration and current UK professional registration.
* Experience with TPP System One, EPS prescribing and AccuRx.
* Adaptability to change.
Experience
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
* Good time management, able to prioritise work and work under pressure.
* Organised and efficient in record keeping and completing paperwork.
* Experience with clinical governance.
* Collaborated with GP Partners and practice team to deliver QoF targets and other objectives.
* Experience with TPP System One, EPS prescribing and AccuRx/Surgery Connect/Abtrace.
Other criteria
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
* UK GP training completion and MRCGP qualification (or equivalent).
* Appropriate medical indemnity cover.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centred clinical care.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proactive approach to clinical governance, audit and CPD.
* Interest or experience in frailty, end‑of‑life care, long‑term condition management or teaching/mentoring trainees.
* Willingness to participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Enthusiasm for innovation, teamwork and supporting the wider primary care network.
