Attendance & Admissions Officer
Repton Manor Primary School – Lightyear Federation
Grade: KSC
Hours: 37 hours per week
Weeks: 40 weeks per year (term time plus inset and additional week)
Responsible to: Business Director
Start Date: As soon as possible
The Lightyear Federation is seeking to appoint a highly organised, friendly and proactive Attendance & Admissions Officer to join our team at Repton Manor Primary School.
This is a key role within the school, acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils while supporting the smooth running of attendance, admissions and key pupil administration processes. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring our school runs efficiently and that families receive a welcoming and professional experience.
The role includes responsibility for monitoring and recording pupil attendance, supporting the admissions process, maintaining accurate pupil records and liaising with parents, staff and external agencies. The post holder will also support the administration of pupil medical information, including maintaining Individual Healthcare Plans, the school asthma register and relevant pupil risk assessments.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has excellent organisational and administrative skills
2. Is confident using school systems and databases (experience with Arbor would be beneficial)
3. Communicates effectively and professionally with parents, staff and external agencies
4. Has strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
5. Works well both independently and as part of a team
6. Is committed to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of children
