Our client is currently seeking a Geotechnical Site Investigation Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on cross-sector projects, providing vital geotechnical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting site investigations and data collection for ground conditions assessment
* Managing drilling operations, including rotary rigs and slope climbing rigs
* Implementing geotechnical solutions and providing technical support
* Ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Preparing and presenting detailed technical reports
* Coordinating risk assessments and mitigation strategies
* Overseeing packer testing and other geotechnical procedures
Job Requirements:
* Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering
* Proficiency in site investigations and data interpretation
* Familiarity with rotary drilling operations and packer testing
* Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to work effectively within a team or independently
* Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
