This is an exciting opportunity to be the Performance & Operations Manager for the ENT, Thoracic & Cancer Services departments at University Hospitals Bristol & Weston Trust. The successful candidate will help support the service in the management of waiting lists and service change and development.


Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of inpatient and outpatient performance in their specialties, encompassing management of all administrative and performance teams, to include Medical Secretaries, outpatient and elective booking staff and validation staff as appropriate to the role. The post holder will manage these teams to ensure high quality scheduling of outpatient and admissions activity, including proactive patient-level management of cancer, diagnostic and 18-week pathways.
