About the role
Working closely with the Commercial Director and senior management to develop a comprehensive sales strategy, you'll be setting goals, defining targets and creating plans to achieve revenue and profit objectives. Monitoring and analysing sales performance will also play a part of course, identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
What experience do I need?
You'll have your finger on the pulse of the industry and bring your understanding of current trends, competitor activities and market developments to the table. You'll have a thorough understanding of category management and how to use category and consumer insight data to develop compelling business cases. You'll have a background in chilled food or fresh produce, with plenty of experience dealing with the major retailers and a track record of developing and delivering profitable sales and profit growth.
