Join to apply for the Bank Facilities Assistant role at NHS Highland.
This role is on a bank basis to cover sickness or annual leave within the facilities team. The post covers facilities services to departments, wards and associated sites, including Islay Hospital and Gortonvogie Residential Home.
Responsibilities
* Assist with cleaning duties, laundry duties, checking equipment and food handling on a daily basis.
* Work with the facilities team to deliver high standard services to our departments, wards and residential home.
* Contribute to health and safety, manual handling and food hygiene practices; full training will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent communication skills and a good work ethic with a positive attitude.
* Commitment to delivering high-standard services.
* Ideal but not essential: knowledge and awareness of health and safety, manual handling and food hygiene standards.
Working pattern and location
* Shift pattern between 07:30 and 18:30, up to 5 days out of 7.
* Based with the facilities team at Islay Hospital and associated sites.
