Assistant Practice Manager Abbeymead Dental Centre – Chertsey, Surrey Due to continued growth and a change in responsibilities within our leadership structure, we are now recruiting an Assistant Practice Manager to support the day-to-day running of the practice and provide both clinical and operational leadership. This is a key role within the practice, offering a combination of clinical support and management responsibility, ideal for an experienced, qualified dental nurse looking to take the next step in their career. We have experienced clinicians supported by qualified dental nurses, an excellent Treatment Coordinator, and a Practice Manager who work closely together to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supporting the Practice Manager with daily operations Assisting with compliance, governance and regulatory requirements Acting as lead or deputy for key roles such as Safeguarding, RPS, Information Governance, Complaints, Fire Safety and First Aid Supporting team leadership, recruitment, onboarding and training of the practice Helping maintain high standards of patient care and experience Assisting with team coordination, rotas, and administrative processes Supporting diary management and operational efficiency What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a dental practice management role or a senior dental role (preferred) Qualified Dental Nurse with radiography training Strong clinical confidence Experience working with specialists and complex clinics Confident using dental systems (SOE) and compliance systems (iComply / DCME) Previous leadership experience or ready to step into a leadership role Organised, proactive and confident supporting a busy practice environment Hours & benefits: Part-time or full-time considered Flexible working hours for the right candidate Competitive remuneration Supportive, friendly team environment Long-term development opportunities, with potential progression as the practice continues to grow Free onsite parking avalible This is an essential role within a growing specialist practice and offers the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your career in leadership and management.
