Our client is seeking an Onsite IT Support Engineer on a long-term temporary basis, working 3 full days per week.
The Onsite IT Support Engineer will handle incidents and requests that require onsite attention. The role involves onsite support and management of end-user workplaces, serving as the hands-and-eyes for IT colleagues who provide a mix of onsite and remote support. Responsibilities include processing and following up on logged incidents and requests using existing ITSM tools, following established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities & Expertise
* Provide hands-on support at end-user workplaces, both in office environments and production locations, including cases with resolution times over 15 minutes.
* Execute and support IMACD (Installation, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) requests and standard changes via established processes and order portals.
* Support migrations and project work, such as system migrations (e.g., from Windows 7 to Windows 10).
* Assist colleagues managing remote IT systems.
* Manage stock of end-user hardware and workplace supplies.

Compliance
* Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
* Ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
Qualifications And Experience
* Knowledge of ITIL principles.
* Experience managing Active Directory user and computer objects.
* Troubleshooting skills for Windows, Microsoft Office, networks, and end-user hardware including printers and production components.
* Consultancy skills for hardware and mobile devices (Android/iOS).
* Experience deploying hardware via SCCM, Intune, or similar tools.
