Are you an experienced Office Manager ready to take the next step in your career? This is a rare opportunity to join Danecourt School, part of the Maritime Academy Trust, at an exciting time of growth and development. With potential growth in the pipeline, we're looking for a skilled and ambitious professional who can confidently lead our busy school office now — and grow into an expanded role with greater responsibility in the future.

About the Role

As Office Manager, you will lead and oversee the smooth and efficient running of all school administration, ensuring high standards of professionalism, compliance, and service. From managing systems, staff, and processes, to supporting leadership with key priorities, you'll play a central role in making sure our school runs effectively every single day.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and line managing our admin team
* Overseeing office systems, pupil attendance, and parent communications
* Supporting HR processes, recruitment and compliance (including the Single Central Record)
* Managing the school website and contributing to marketing activities
* Ensuring effective communication across staff, families, and external partners
* Supporting the Headteacher and SLT with administrative priorities

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same — one moment you'll be analysing attendance data, the next you'll be ensuring parents receive timely communication about school events.

Who you Are We're seeking someone who is:

* Already an experienced Office Manager (ideally in a school setting)
* Skilled at leading people and driving improvements
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy workload
* A confident communicator with excellent written and IT skills
* Committed to safeguarding, compliance, and high standards of practice

What We Offer

At Danecourt, we pride ourselves on being warm, supportive, and forward-thinking. As part of the Maritime Academy Trust, we offer meaningful career opportunities, collaborative working, and the chance to help pupils with SEND thrive.

Here's what you can expect:

* A supportive, team-based culture, where admin, teaching, and leadership staff work side by side to create the best environment for our pupils and families.
* Meaningful Impact, unlike a traditional office management role, this position places you at the centre of a school community. Your leadership and organisation will directly support children's education, families' experiences, and staff wellbeing. Every system you improve and every process you lead has a visible, positive impact on the lives of our pupils and the smooth running of the school.
* Clear development pathways, through our 'grow our own' approach or other specialist roles
* Access to regular training, including weekly CPD for support staff to build confidence and expertise
* Join a school that is proud to be the Winner of the Primary Special School Provision category at the Medway Parents and Carers Forum SEND Awards.
* Local Government Pension scheme & national terms and conditions
* A comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme
