Main Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Senior Customer Advisor, the Customer Advisor manages transactional activities related to customer relationship management and provides exceptional customer service. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to resolve customer issues within SLAs, handling inquiries via website or e-commerce, managing complaints professionally, and supporting sales and performance targets aligned with Unipart Rail’s Customer Engagement System.
This role is primarily reactive to customer demands, with decision-making guided by established business processes and oversight from the Head of Customer Support.
Skills & Analysis
The role requires a varied skill set, including good customer knowledge, market awareness, self-initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and understanding of customer engagement. Proficiency in SAP and general IT skills are essential, along with basic knowledge of commercial terms. The ability to meet targets and deadlines efficiently, and a collaborative approach to customer engagement, are also required.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Handle customer queries, manage orders, and oversee pricing and delivery processes
* Perform customer service activities to ensure satisfaction
* Proactively manage stopped/restricted vehicles and customer-identified spares
* Manage reports related to imminent failures and back orders
