Due to our firm's expansion, we are seeking an Operations Manager to assist in the growth and service delivery of our Vehicle Damage Post Litigation Department.
You will collaborate closely with the Head and Deputy of the department to efficiently manage the daily operations of the department.
You will work alongside the senior supervisors to manage efficiencies and delivery of key department objectives. The ideal candidate should possess experience in either the Insurance and/or legal industries on an operational role.

Management & HR
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, providing professional, efficient, and effective operational support to the legal teams.
* Formulate plans based on identified training and staff development needs.
* Enhance and optimise employees' performance in alignment with the organisation's objectives.
* Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to all employees in operational and procedural matters.
* Undertake ad hoc tasks or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Head/Deputy of the department for this post and the associated level or responsibility attached to it.
* Participate in recruitment, training, and development of new and existing staff.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the firm's public image and effectively market its services.
* Assist with HR related matters including investigations and disciplinaries.
Strategic
* Assist in formulating and implementing business strategies for the departments operational success, collaborating with senior management to set goals, performance objectives, and long-term plans.
Reporting
* ·Produce coherent daily, weekly, and monthly reports highlighting areas of good, average, and underperformance.
* Prepare operational reports and analyses for management review.

Skills and Experience
* Ideally, come from a legal and/or insurance background
* Track record of leading or involvement in operational and service delivery within an organisation.
* Ability to interpret data.
* Demonstrates sound judgment and commercial awareness.
* Essential experience in supervising work or leading teams.
* Intermediate-level skills in IT, particularly in case management and Microsoft Excel, along with proficiency in undertaking administrative activities.
* Excellent communication skills with a professional approach to clients/customers.
* Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop and motivate self and others.
