An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 mental health nurses in our NHS Forth Valley Prisons. The post will initially be based at HMP & YOI Polmont but the postholder may be required to work over any of the 3 prison sites.

Role Responsibilities
As a first level registered mental health nurse you will deliver high quality care and treatment within this unique environment, working in partnership with SPS and wider agencies. You will be a vital part of a holistic service, making a significant contribution to the mental health care needs, outcomes and experience of a complex and vulnerable population. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work autonomously with a high level of clinical decision making skills.

Forth Valley Prison Healthcare promotes staff personal and professional ongoing development. All posts are subject to rotation. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
