CFO Evolution Employer Engagement Consultant
The Growth Company's (GC) Justice Services has an exciting opportunity for an CFO Evolution Employer Engagement Consultant within our Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution Programme. The role will focus on engaging with employers to identify job opportunities, understand workforce needs, and provide a high-quality recruitment service that benefits both our customers and employer partners.
We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment. Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals from those who have recently found themselves out of work to people facing complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, long-term unemployment, or financial challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and nurture strong employer relationships through regular meetings, calls, and networking activity, gaining a clear understanding of workforce and recruitment needs.
2. Generate new business opportunities through proactive digital, telephone, and face‑to‑face engagement.
3. Provide high‑quality account management, ensuring excellent service delivery, repeat business, and promotion of wider Growth Company services.
4. Identify employers in growth sectors and connect them with suitable candidates to maximise job opportunities for our customers.
5. Collaborate with internal and external training providers to design tailored pre‑employment training aligned to employer requirements.
6. Promote vacancies effectively across internal and external channels, ensuring operational teams receive accurate information to support strong candidate referrals.
7. Pre‑screen candidates to ensure suitability, coordinate interviews, and manage feedback processes professionally and efficiently.
8. Maintain accurate, compliant records across all relevant systems, ensuring adherence to data security and organisational procedures.
About You
9. A confident communicator who builds rapport quickly and maintains strong, positive relationships.
10. Highly organised, detail‑focused, and capable of managing multiple employer accounts simultaneously.
11. Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to travel and occasionally work outside standard hours.
12. Knowledgeable about welfare‑to‑work services and experienced in supporting diverse customer groups.
Skills Required
13. Background in sales or recruitment, ideally with experience securing vacancies and supporting candidates into employment.
14. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence employer decisions effectively.
15. Solid understanding of the local labour market, recruitment trends, and emerging growth sectors.
16. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engaging decision‑makers, identifying opportunities, and closing agreements.
17. Proven track record of working to challenging targets in a fast‑paced sales environment.
18. Confident IT user, including management information systems, spreadsheets, and email.
