This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional looking to move into education, or an existing lecturer seeking a new challenge within a supportive and well-resourced college environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and practical training to students studying plumbing qualifications, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for successful careers in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom and workshop-based plumbing lessons Teach students working towards recognised plumbing qualifications (Level 1-3) Support learners in developing practical plumbing skills and industry knowledge Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Maintain accurate student records and contribute to course development Ensure teaching meets awarding body standards and health & safety requirements Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential Requirements Industry experience as a qualified plumber Relevant plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent) Strong communication and organisational skills A passion for supporting and developing learners A teaching qualification (such as AET, PTLLS, or PGCE) is desirable but not essential, as the college can support the successful candidate in gaining the required teaching qualification.
