An established and well-regarded law firm based in Crosby is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join its busy accounts team. This is a full-time, office-based role, working closely alongside the firm’s Accounts Manager. This position would suit a Legal Cashier who is confident working within a law firm environment and has a strong understanding of legal accounts and compliance requirements. The Role * Working alongside the Accounts Manager to support the day-to-day running of the accounts function * Processing client and office ledger transactions accurately and in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules * Posting bills, receipts, payments, and disbursements * Processing and creating bank payments * Assisting with property transactions, including completion statements * Ensuring compliance with SAR and AML requirements Minimum Requirements * Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm * Knowledge and understanding of SAR and AML requirements * A solid understanding of basic accounting principles * Experience dealing with property transactions and completion statements * Full working knowledge and experience of: * Client and office ledger transactions * Posting bills, receipts, payments, and disbursements * Processing and creating bank payments What’s on Offer * Full-time, permanent position * Office-based role in Crosby (no hybrid working) * Supportive working environment within an experienced accounts team * Competitive salary, dependent on experience Please contact Grace Bolton at Miller Grace Recruitment for more information on this role or apply to be immediately conisdered
