We are seeking a Bordereaux Analyst to oversee the outsourced Bordereaux processing and support query resolution related to data files from third parties into the ViPR system, with emphasis on data quality and accuracy. This role also supports quality control of uploaded data and processes managed by the outsourced Bordereaux Processing Team.
Responsibilities
* Act as a source of knowledge and point of query triage/resolution for in-house and outsourced team members, escalating to the Head of Underwriting Operations when applicable.
* Assist with ensuring continued timely throughput, high quality and accuracy of data handled by the outsourced bordereaux operations function.
* Assist with the development of the bordereau management system Intrali.
* Provide support to the Head of Underwriting Operations as required in matters relating to the operational oversight of bordereaux processing.
* Act as an Intrali SME for the CNP business.
* Take responsibility for quality control, audit and query resolution arising from the bordereaux management process, including educating the outsourced team to reduce the number of queries.
* Produce, monitor and complete the bordereaux processing monitoring and oversight MI reports.
* Analyse/interpret and challenge the weekly and monthly bordereaux processing statistics provided by the outsource team.
* Assist in the processing of bordereaux into Intrali.
* Resolve issues that prevent Bordereaux processing within agreed timelines.
* Maintain ownership of data quality issue identification in line with Lloyd's standards.
* Liaise with Brokers and Coverholders to chase bordereaux, resolve queries and improve data quality; ensure robust communication with Underwriting teams.
* Support the outsource provider in maintaining up-to-date process and training documentation.
* Challenge and develop existing MI, and report to internal stakeholders, Coverholders, brokers and TPAs to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new risks or failures.
* Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance processes, streamline activities and drive best practice in bordereaux management.
Skills & Experience
* Strong analytical skills.
* Strong aptitude for data.
* Good working knowledge of the ViPR – Intrali system (essential to the role).
* Good knowledge of bordereaux data across multiple business lines and the desire to understand the technicalities of the different lines of business.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver verbal and visual presentations to internal and external stakeholders including senior management.
* Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge and skills in other Microsoft Office products to support MI and Reporting.
* Knowledge of Lloyd's Delegated Authority business.
* Lloyd’s and London Market experience.
* Ability to handle a diverse range of priorities and tasks in parallel, both individually and in a team.
