Residential Conveyancer Bedford | Hybrid Working | Permanent Role Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience (typically from £40,000) Our client, a well-established and growing law firm, is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their busy property team ahead of 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive, client-focused professional to take ownership of a varied caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a broad range of residential property files, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages, and new build transactions. * Oversee cases from instruction through to completion, maintaining high service standards throughout. * Prepare, review, and approve legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and reports on title. * Ensure accurate and timely use of the firm’s case management system. * Handle all post-completion work efficiently. * Carry out legal research as required to support case progression. * Provide clear and practical advice to clients in a professional and approachable manner. Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years’ fee-earning experience in residential conveyancing. * Strong technical understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation. * Proven ability to meet deadlines and billing targets. * Excellent communication and client relationship skills. * Capable of working independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
