Role Summary
RACH Theatres are looking for a qualified Band 5 registered nurse or ODP to join our team. The RACH theatre department caters for a range of patient ages from neonates to 16‑year olds in a wide variety of specialities. Sound perioperative experience is essential as the post is to cover a maternity secondment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide perioperative nursing care to patients ranging from neonates to 16‑year olds across various specialties.
* Cover maternity secondment duties within the theatre department.
* Work 29.11 hours a week for an 11‑month secondment, with contractual terms aligned to the Agenda for Change schedule.
Qualifications
* Band 5 registered nurse or ODP.
* Sound perioperative experience.
Contract and Compensation
* Pay will be proportionally increased to reflect the reduction of the full‑time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week.
* Employees will be responsible for all costs associated with entering Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone.
