Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in nurturing the development of young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth in a safe and stimulating environment.
Duties
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children aged 0-11 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, tailored to the individual needs of each child.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
* Support the nursery's leadership team in managing daily operations and maintaining high standards of care.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's participation and enjoyment.
* Drive initiatives that promote children's health, hygiene, and overall well-being within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to manage small groups of children during activities.
* A genuine love for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
* Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and support children's learning experiences.
