Birchwelll Associates is working with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a modern, cloud-based IT environment.
This role is ideal for a technically capable systems professional with strong Azure and infrastructure experience who wants to work with up-to-date technology in a supportive, forward-thinking workplace.
The Role As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance, security, and reliability of IT systems and network infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure systems remain robust, secure, and fit for purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and supporting Azure-based environments
Administering Active Directory / Microsoft Entra
Maintaining DNS, DHCP, email systems, and network services
Overseeing system security, antivirus, backups, and disaster recovery
Supporting IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DaaS platforms
Managing Azure, Intune, and Cisco Meraki environments
Providing technical input and support for end-users when required
About You You will have:
Proven experience in IT systems administration
Strong knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure
Experience working with Active Directory / Microsoft Entra
A current CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Azure certification (or equivalent, achieved or refreshed within the last three years)
Experience with Cisco Meraki is desirable but not essential.
