Job Description
DEKA Research and Development, housed in Manchester, NH, has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to work in a dynamic Research and Development environment. In this role, you will work alongside a group of passionate engineers to create innovative solutions that truly make a difference.
DEKA offers Co-Ops for full-time students* (must be at least 18 years old). This position is for a 4-6 month rotation starting in August/Early September for the Fall semester.
How you will make an impact as an Electrical Engineer Co-Op:
* Support the development of new products and concepts
* Perform characterization of electrical circuits and document performance
* Assist in failure analysis
* Perform verification and validation activities using test equipment and test fixtures
* Troubleshoot electromechanical prototypes
* Use electrical CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium)
* Apply electrical engineering principles to solve problems
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Electrical Engineering program
* Knowledge of analog (signal and low-power) and digital circuits
* Experience with electrical CAD tools (schematic and layout)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter and eager to contribute in a team environment
* Detail-oriented
