Hadlow College have an exciting opportunity and are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our Estates department, helping to ensure a safe and secure environment for our students and staff.

This is a highly visible, customer-focused role that plays a vital part in day-to-day campus life. The position offers variety and new challenges each day, combining proactive security duties with identifying and responding to issues, while also providing support and reassurance to our campus community.

Working as part of the wider Estates team, you will be a positive, approachable, and proactive individual who contributes to creating a welcoming and supportive environment in which people can study and work with confidence.

The successful candidate must hold a full UK Category B driving licence and have access to a vehicle during working hours. A good understanding of Health and Safety procedures and best practice is also essential. It would be advantageous if you held the following licences.

* Valid SIA licence
* First Aid certification
* Fire Warden/Fire Marshal certification

The Role:

Where you'll work: This role is based at our Hadlow campus, however the nature of the work may require travel to other College sites as required to support colleagues.

Your hours: 42.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum.

Your pay: Spot salary of £28,357.84 per annum (£24,688 pa full time equivalent at 37 hours per week).
