Estate Manager \n\nManagement - South West England \n\nContract: Full Time\n Salary: £50,000 Per Annum\n Shift type: Days\n Contracted hours: 37.5 \n\n Care Concern Group is delighted to bring a senior opportunity to market.\n\nDue to acquisitions and commissioning projects across England, we are looking to appoint an Estate Manager who will support and advise the wider group in property maintenance, compliance and development.\n\nLocation: Home-Based with Travel Across South West England (Overnight Stays as Required)\nReports to: Group Estates Manager\nSalary: £50,000 per annum\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\nProfessional Accreditation: You are MRICS, MCIOB, or have proven ability and experience in building surveying.\n\nJCT Contract Expertise: You bring strong experience in JCT contract documentation and administration.\n\nRisk Management: You possess a solid understanding of fire, legionella, and asbestos risk management.\n\nM&E System Familiarity: You are familiar with commercial Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) system installations.\n\nCare Home Experience: You have experience working within the care home environment, understanding its unique demands.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing: \n\nEstate Management: You’ll be home-based but responsible for managing the company’s estate across the group, with overnight stays as needed.\n\nProject Management: Lead refurbishment projects valued up to £2M, handling everything from specifications and employer’s requirements to consultant appointments, contract administration, valuations, and payments.\n\nSurveying Duties: Conduct pre-acquisition and dilapidation surveys, ensuring our estates meet high standards.\n\nCondition Surveys: Perform annual condition surveys across our existing estate, identifying areas for improvement.\n\nReactive Maintenance: Respond to major building defects, managing reactive maintenance and property-related health and safety issues.\n\nPreventative Maintenance: Prepare and manage five-year planned preventative maintenance budgets for high-value assets, ensuring long-term sustainability.\n\nContract Management: Tender, instruct, and oversee service contracts across the estate, ensuring quality and compliance.\n\nCompliance Monitoring: Review and monitor all home compliance certifications, ensuring our facilities meet regulatory standards.\n\n Contract Details\n\nPension\n\nPaid DBS\n\n5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract)\n\nContracted to 37.5 hours per week\n\n£400 per month for car allowance\n\nProfessional fees paid
