What you will do
Wash Bay Operative
£12.81 per hour - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday as required
Hours: 0800 to 1700 with a 1-hour unpaid break
We will also provide training for additional forklift truck duties.
Responsibilities:
* Wash down, operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean vehicles
* Keep the wash bay clean and free from debris
* Empty rubbish and recycling bins around the wash bay
* Clean spills or accidents
* Safely apply industrial cleaning chemicals and use them at appropriate levels
* Keep cleaning chemical supplies stocked
* Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs needed
* Complete daily tasks as specified by supervisors
* Ensure equipment and materials are properly stored and secured when not in use
* Perform regular maintenance on cleaning equipment
* Promote a health and safety-compliant environment by removing hazards
This role will be dirty and wet, working outside in all weather conditions in the wash bay area. We will provide training for forklift duties as well.
