Job Overview for the Internal Sales Assistant As an Internal Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role supporting our Internal Sales team. Your responsibilities will include: * Progress sales enquiries through the sales process to order. * Support customer enquires received by email and telephone ensuring a speedy resolution is provided with an excellent level of customer service. * Ensure enquiries are processed efficiently with customers kept updated on progress. * Preparation of customer quotations accurately and efficiently ensuring a best in class customer experience. * Proactively follow up on all issued quotes. * Monitor and report on sales activities, including quote-to-order conversion rates. Candidate Requirements for the Internal Sales Assistant * Previous industry experience (advantageous but not essential). * Strong organisational and ability to manage conflicting priorities. * Good IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular). * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Excellent customer service skills and ability to build effective relationships. * Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and good numeracy skills
