An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established and highly respected main contractor delivering projects across the South Coast region.
This contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality schemes across multiple sectors and is continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work throughout 2026 and beyond.
The successful candidate will play a key role overseeing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery across programme, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction.
Project Sectors
Projects are delivered across a diverse range of sectors including:
* Residential
* Education
* MOD
* Student Accommodation
* Leisure
* Retail
* Commercial
Project values typically range up to £50m.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously
* Managing projects through the full lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover
* Leading site teams and operational delivery functions
* Monitoring programme performance, quality and health & safety
* Managing client relationships and stakeholder communication
* Supporting commercial performance and project reporting
* Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and supply chain partners
* Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual and regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Proven experience operating as a Contracts Manager within a main contracting environment
* Experience delivering xsngvjr projects up to £50m
* Strong operational and client-facing capability
* Experience across one or more of the sectors listed above
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
