Role Overview
Our client is a leading name in Aberdeenshire’s thriving food sector, and they are looking for a motivated Site Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned maintenance (PPMs) and assist with both electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
* Diagnose faults on automated machinery and help implement long-term fixes.
* Get involved with equipment upgrades and reliability initiatives.
* Work alongside production teams to minimize downtime and maintain high safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Electrical Knowledge: You should hold a recognised electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or HNC/D). 18th Edition training is preferred.
* Background: Experience in Food, FMCG, or high-speed manufacturing is ideal. If you come from a similar fast‑paced sector, we are still open to your application.
* Technical Interest: A basic understanding of PLCs, conveyors, and automated systems.
* Right to Work: You must have full, permanent UK working rights. We cannot offer sponsorship or consider those on limited‑term visas.
