Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for two Band 5 Clinical Trials Managers to join our Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Research team. The successful candidates will work under the direct supervision of the Chief Investigator and a Senior Trials Manager within a dedicated Integrated IBD Team, supporting a caseload of approximately 4,800 patients across three hospital sites.
Responsibilities
* Set up, manage, and coordinate specific IBD research projects at multiple sites across the UK and abroad.
* Generate and coordinate grant bids, obtain regulatory approvals, and ensure the timely set-up and delivery of IBD portfolio studies.
* Overall trial management, including liaison with sites, site communication, and ensuring regulatory documentation and site initiation visits.
* Track and monitor recruitment, and devise and implement tools for study success.
* Exercise initiative and judgement when dealing with site enquiries and requests, prioritising tasks accordingly.
Qualifications
* Experience in a health‑care research environment.
* Minimum qualification of Diploma level or equivalent.
* Advanced typing and excellent computer skills.
* Experience in database management.
* Current ICH‑GCP certification.
* Desirable: experience in research coordination activities.
