Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Blyth area that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January.
This role is well suited to an Early Career Teacher who is keen to develop their practice within a supportive school environment where staff are encouraged and pupils are supported to reach their full potential.
The Role
This is a full-time teaching position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum for a Year 4 class, while supporting both academic progress and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
2. Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing through creative and inclusive teaching
3. Creating a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment
4. Monitoring progress and providing meaningful feedback
5. Managing behaviour calmly and effectively
6. Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Requirements
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
8. Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
9. Confident communication and classroom management skills
10. A reflective and adaptable approach to teaching
11. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
