About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Oxford office. Our Oxford office provides local project support, especially in complex sectors such as Science, Research, and Healthcare. This is an exciting time to join our team, which offers stability, opportunity, and a focus on sustainability and modern living.
As a Principal or Associate Engineer, you will support and deliver electrical design projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:
* Managing the technical delivery of electrical design services across various projects.
* Developing initial strategic concepts aligned with project briefs and standards.
* Engaging with stakeholders, attending meetings, and translating project briefs.
* Assisting in monitoring project budgets, resources, and deliverables.
* Mentoring and supporting junior staff, including apprentices and graduates.
About you
To succeed, you should have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role, with a record of delivering complex projects.
* Experience with modern technical processes and software such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
* Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, and architects in a consultancy environment.
* Self-awareness, openness, and a collaborative spirit.
* Experience supporting others’ professional development.
