We are delighted to partner with our client who boast a Chambers UK 2025 and Legal 500-ranked employment team, focusing on employer-based matters.
This is an interesting and varied role advising the firms diverse client base on a range of employment law issues and represent them in employment tribunals.

Key areas of responsibility include;
* Advising on the employment aspects of transactions, such as corporate and outsourcing projects
* Handling day-to-day employment queries, including disciplinary and grievance matters
* Managing collective matters, such as redundancies, integration, and TUPE
* Advising on trade union matters
* Representing clients in tribunal litigation
The successful candidates who can be based either, Based in our Aberdeen, Inverness, or Edinburgh office, you will:
* Manage your own caseload and assist with complex cases with team support
* Deliver high-quality client care
* Handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters for employers and employees
* Work with clients in person and remotely, attending tribunals and court when required
* Participate in business development activities
* Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations, including client verification
The ideal candidate will possess 4+pqe in Employment Law coupled with;
* Possess a strong track record of advising clients and representing them in employment tribunals.
* Demonstrate the ability to identify key issues and conduct effective legal merits assessments
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A team-focused approach, with the ability to work independently
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Attention to detail, particularly when working with figures
* Confidence in making timely, well-considered decisions
* Commercial awareness and the ability to assess risks effectively
Your experience should include managing a caseload that covers;
* Settlement agreements
* Constructive, unfair, and wrongful dismissal cases
* Sickness absence issues
* Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
* ACAS early conciliation
* Employment tribunals
