Duties Include interacting politely with guests - greeting them, saying `thank you` and `goodbye` maintaining office administration in line with company policies and general data protection regulations (GDPR) carrying out administrative tasks, reservations, cancellations and no-shows, managing check-ins, check-outs and aftercare, providing reports as necessary (eg for housekeeping or management tasks) checking that all bedrooms/conference rooms and all other associated areas under your responsibility are cleaned and maintained within guidelines conducting regular security checks, including fire safety checks, throughout your shift, reporting any issues to your line manager reporting any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents and/or maintenance issues to the manager on duty being responsible for evacuation, in the case of emergency, liaising with guests and the emergency services completing required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement Progression and development Most Wetherspoon team leaders and managers started in the kitchen or behind the bar.
