HR Colleague Experience Adviser

The HR Services Team delivers high quality value-add HR consultancy services throughout M&G plc. The team apply specialist knowledge, advice and guidance and share best practice to colleagues across the organisation. In addition to this the team ensures policies and processes are applied in a consistent, fair and professional manner. The HR Colleague Experience Adviser helps support and educate colleagues across HR and the wider business by helping them work within a self-service model to get the best out of Workday and The People Hub and provides dedicated case management support to Managers. The HR Colleague Experience Adviser works closely with other HR Colleague Experience Advisers, HR Colleague Experience Lead, HR Services Manager and other HR Teams and provides expert guidance and support to colleagues across M&G plc.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to colleagues on policies, procedures and best practices.
* Provide expert pay advice and guidance to colleagues.
* Effectively coordinate and support transformational change activities by leveraging HR expertise and resources. Liaise with key stakeholders and business representatives.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relation matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and promoting a fair and inclusive work environment.
* Effective management of informal cases in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
* Carry out HR and pay related changes linked to the colleague lifecycle in line with the self-service model, whilst ensuring all activities remain compliant and within policy, legislation, regulatory guidelines and risk appetite.
* Participate and lead on key BAU and Project activity, including supporting other HR Ops Teams, i.e., testing and uploading People Hub content.
* Deliver on key BAU lifecycle projects and proactively work with key stakeholders and business representatives to ensure keep to timelines.
* Implement and embed international processes into UK operations and ensure alignment where relevant and compliance with local regulations.
* Foster strong and positive relationships with the business by prioritising more face-to-face interactions through drop-in sessions, lunch and learns depending on business needs.
* Be responsible for the completion of key process level controls and recommending enhancements where necessary in line with Operational Risk framework.
* Understand and deliver against service levels and a triage process to deliver exceptional service within the agreed time and quality, first time around.
* Support UK Border Agency requirements and other regulatory activity
* Use available resources to proactively identify opportunities to improve the HR colleague experience.
* Co-ordinate and deliver team training and upskilling.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Sound knowledge of key processes within the HR Services Team whilst remaining compliant within policy, legislation, regulatory guidelines and risk appetite
* Full understanding of HR Systems, i.e., Workday, People Hub and how all the teams across HR work together / collaborate, including 3rd party suppliers
* Excellent knowledge of Workday and Service Now
* Understanding and being competent in all HR general tasks and processes within the team

* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
* Experience of managing a range of tasks and responsibilities within an HR environment
* A strong customer focus
* Excellent attention to detail

* CIPD desirable
